Thai Kitchen – O’Fallon receives 100% on its recent two Food Establishment Health Inspection Scores.
O’FALLON, MO (OrderMyFood) Thai Kitchen – O’Fallon was inspected by the St. Charles County Health Department and received its second 100% score for its health inspection.
While the previous scores have always been in the 90s, they improved after they expanded their seating capacity and remodeled the space.
From the name, it is clear to see that it is a Thai restaurant. It is family-owned with multiple locations across the St. Louis region, including:
- Florissant, MO
- O’Fallon, MO (this location)
- Maryland Heights, MO (to open soon using the name Thai Mama)
- St. Charles, MO
- St. Louis, MO
- Wentzville, MO
The St. Louis location opened in August 2023 on Hampton Avenue inside a ghost kitchen called “The Hill Food Co.” There is no dine-in, just pickup and delivery.
The Maryland Heights, MO, location is ready to open soon; we are just waiting on the final inspection, etc. It has to operate using a different name than Thai Kitchen because its first location opened in 1999 and remains in Maryland Heights. She sold that location many years ago. Therefore, she wants to return to the community, but she wants to avoid confusing the customers. However, it will be the same great menu and service that has made this chain popular.
The owner is Sasimonthon Ongartsutthikul, who launched the business in 1999.
Additionally, Ongartsutthikul recently created Sasi Wholesale and Sasi Thai Market.
Sasi Wholesale imports Thai food products in high volume and sells them to restaurants, while Sasi Thai Market offers Thai food products to consumers at retail prices.
2023 was a busy year for Ongartsutthikul, opening two locations, a wholesale company and a small grocery store catering to Thai consumers. However, with this much energy, we don’t see her slowing down anytime soon.
